Cosecha is a nonviolent movement working to win permanent protection, dignity and respect for the 11 million undocumented people in this country.
We are fighting for dignity.
Our campaigns aim to bring our community from a place of fear and individual fights to determination and collective resistance. Our sanctuary campaigns aim to defend our communities, expose the repression, build rapid response teams, and establish places of protection and resistance for the immigrant community. Our #TodosNosotros campaign is pushing Democrats to protect all immigrants in the last few weeks they are in power, and our #MigrantBoycott campaign begins to show this country how much the economy depends on immigrants.
We are making headlines.
"More than 100 people danced into the stores, swinging their hips to pulsing Latino music, in the protest organized by Cosecha, an immigrants rights group. The stores were chosen because many immigrants shop at them, organizers said. “What we’re doing here is we’re showing . . . there’s not a business or a space that can’t survive without immigrants,” said Rodrigo Saavedra of East Boston, speaking into a microphone as dancers gathered outside TJ Maxx on Washington Street."
We are organizing a week without immigrants.
We are building toward massive civil resistance and non-cooperation to show our country it depends on us.
