Take action on July 31st to #AbolishICE in your community!

In the last month, hundreds of thousands of people have risen up in outrage at the stories of parents separated from their children and internment camps for immigrant families fleeing violence and seeking asylum. The country has seen the cruelty of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), an institution whose purpose is to detain and persecute people for daring to dream of giving their children a better life.

With the demand to abolish ICE more popular than ever, we are calling for a National Day of Action on July 31 to target the government institutions and companies that help ICE function day in and day out. It is unacceptable for anyone to do business with ICE, to make their job easier, or to profit from the inhumane treatment of immigrants.

It is our moral duty to refuse to be complicit with ICE at every level and demand that the institutions we are part of do the same.

Our counties must end their contracts with ICE. Our mayors must end police department collaboration with ICE, ban ICE from questioning people on public transit or any city property, and warn the immigrant community in advance if ICE is planning a raid. The companies we buy from must stop developing technology and selling goods to ICE.

Who does business with ICE?

Government institutions and companies we are all a part of allow ICE to function day in and day out. They are complicit with--and often profit from--attacks on the immigrant community. Not anymore.

Local departments of labor, school districts, DMVs, and hospital share data with ICE.

On July 31, we are taking action against all cities, institutions, and corporations that do business with ICE. As residents, workers, and consumers, we have the power to demand that they stop helping ICE detain our community members and separate immigrant families.

Amazon, STOP giving technology to ICE!

Amazon, STOP giving technology to ICE!

Sign here to tell Amazon to stop selling technology to ICE

Today, 6 activists are risking arrest protesting Amazons complicit relationship with ICE and their willingness to share surviellance technology and tech with DHS, ICE, and police. Amazon’s priorities are clear: profit over the lives of immigrant children and families and the dignity and respect of the immigrant community.

Multinational companies like Amazon are profiting off the inhumane detention and separation of families.  In an open letter earlier this week employees wrote “We learn from history, and we understand how IBM’s systems were employed in the 1940s to help Hitler, IBM did not take responsibility then, and by the time their role was understood, it was too late. We will not let that happen again”

Sign the petition to join employees of Amazon as they demand that Jeff Bezos terminate Amazon’s contract with Palantir immediately, and stop selling facial recognition services to ICE.

As long as companies such as Amazon keep collaborating with ICE and propping up the deportation and separation machine, there will me more broken families, more immigrants detained, and more communities destroyed.
